Your parents do not have to be dead. For some reason, I keep seeing that people's parents have died from illness, because they were murdered, and so on. I am just saying once and for all - YOUR PARENTS CAN BE ALIVE.

I think people are doing this so that they don't have to deal with their parents while they are roleplaying
